Risqué is defined, as slightly indecent and liable to shock. And what a shock; Risque was, shocking the St.Nicolas Ave pedestrians with sexually suggestive works on canvas.
What an eyeful it was! You would have had to have been there to understand some of the feelings that existed in the space. From kissing mouths, lips, hips, and the skeletal anatomy, onlookers weren't sure which way to look. Adding a touch of fashion somehow still seemed so provocative.
Live painting put its viewers in a daze and gave even more reason to pause and reflect on everything happening in the space. A special thank you to all the artists of The Risqué Exhibition.
